The recent photos of Queen Elizabeth II, taken on Tuesday (September 6), sparked concern for her health and went viral this week.
Now, word has emerged from the Palace that the 96-year-old monarch is not doing well. “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” the palace released in a statement on Thursday (September 8). “The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.” The photos show Queen Elizabeth greeting new Prime Minister Liz Truss at Balmoral Castle on Tuesday (September 6) in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The Queen had a bruise on her hand that left many concerned for her health. She had canceled numerous events over the past several months.
