A restaurant from West Lothian has visited the staff at St John’s Hospital and donated 50 meals.Bay Leaf Indian restaurant in Pumpherston decided to get involved and help NHS staff because they wanted to give something back to their local community amidst the coronavirus crisis.Their chefs came in at 8am to prepare the food and all in they took up 50 main courses to give out to the front line staff at the hospital.The restaurant staff brought chicken bhoona and masala curries and a tarka daal option for vegetarians to be served up alongside rice and naan bread.A spokesperson told the Courier: “We just want to get out there and to help all these front line workers out there who are working so hard on long shifts.
