Royle Family star Ralf Little pokes fun at 'competitive' clappers in comedy video

The Royle Family star Ralf Little has made fans laugh with a video poking fun at 'competitive' clappers observing the Clap for Carers gesture.

The Bury-born actor made a comedy clip of himself playing two characters. In the film the neighbours, both played by Ralf, step outside their front door to express their gratitude for those working on the frontline during the coronavirus pandemic, but a game of one-upmanship ensues.

It starts with the neighbours trying to clap louder than the other, then one brings out a pan and spoon to bang with a smug look.

Not to be outdone, the other neighbour returns with a cannon activating fireworks into the night sky. "There’s always someone smug and competitive who takes it too far..." wrote Ralf alongside
