Covid restrictions to climb a munro. The pair, from Oban, got into difficulty while climbing Buachaille Etive Mòr near Glencoe on December 31 and were rescued by the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) and police.One of the men had suffered a leg injury resulting in 25 members of the MRT attending on foot to help them off the hill.During the rescue a member of the MRT also suffered an injury which is currently undergoing medical assessment and the injured hiker was rushed by ambulance to hospital.The men were later fined by police for the breach of coronavirus lockdown resrictions.Inspector Kevin Macleod from Highlands & Islands Police Division said: “The men had travelled from Oban to hike this route, and found themselves in difficultly as.
