Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.Public transport services in Wishaw and the surrounding areas are beginning to return to pre-coronavirus levels.Bus operator JMB Travel which runs local services in Lanarkshire announced that weekday timetables were running at “near normal” from Monday this week with enhanced hygiene measures in place on vehicles.Service 41 linking Lanark, Carluke, Wishaw, Motherwell and Hamilton, and service 56 which links Shotts, Allanton, Bonkle, Newmains, Wishaw, Motherwell and North Motherwell were both increased and are now running every 15 minutes on weekdays.They will also operate every 30 minutes on Saturdays.The family owned company based in Newmains has introduced.
