Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has opened up about the incurable illness she suffers from, having been diagnosed with tinnitus nearly 20 years ago.
Susanna, 53, spoke about her diagnosis on GMB on Wednesday, 7 February as she and co-host Richard Madeley got ready to interview Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing about his own battle with tinnitus.
Tinnitus is the sensation of hearing a sound in the absence of any external noise and is often described as a ringing in the ears.
As the duo discussed Jamie's appearance on GMB, Richard, 67, turned to Susanna and asked: "You've had tinnitus for a very long time haven't you?" to which she responded: "Yes, almost 20 years." The mum-of-three then said she hears "it all the time" and would later provide some advice to those also suffering from the illness.
