Prince Harry raced back to the UK for a whistle-stop trip after the news of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis was made public last Monday night.
Harry jumped on a flight from LAX and was in London by Tuesday lunchtime following the announcement by Buckingham Palace. The King is reported to have personally informed his youngest son of his health issue, as well as other senior members of the royal family including Prince William, Princess Anne and Prince Edward.
Harry made the visit alone to the UK as wife Meghan Markle and kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet remained at home in California.
Harry’s concern for his father was obvious given the speed in which he flew to the UK but, as writes the Mirror, sources have since revealed that he was in good spirits on the flight back to his family across the Atlantic.According to reports in People, as he flew home to the US, he was sociable with other flyers as well as airline staff, and he seemed to be cheery and smiley, despite having to catch two transatlantic flights.
