Takeaway-loving Brits have helped raise more than £400,000 for charities on the frontline of the fight against Coronavirus - over just TWO DAYS.

Super Hero Sunday was launched by Just Eat to raise money for NHS Charities Together, National Emergencies Trust, and the Care Workers Charity.

As part of the campaign, 20% of every order made via the takeaway delivery app from more than 4,000 of its restaurant partners across the UK is being donated to the cause.

The initiative has run over the past two Sundays, with more than 50,000 customers placing orders at the participating restaurants.
