Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA  (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has backed calls for Dominic Cummings to be sacked after Downing Street was accused of covering up the fact the Prime Minister’s top aide broke coronavirus lockdown rues.

The Good Morning Britain host slammed Cummings on Twitter and even suggested Boris Johnson knew his chief adviser planned to flout restrictions.

In a series of furious Tweets, Piers said he will deem the lockdown "over" if Dominic Cummings isn't sacked as it appears there's one rule for Government officials and another for "the rest of us." Piers also threatened to drive from his London home to see his parents, who he has not seen in 12 weeks, as he has been diligently following Government advice.
