A teenager who nearly died during his battle with anorexia says he was mocked by trolls 'for looking like a hunger striker'.
Dean Miller has bravely opened up about his struggles in a bid to urge more men to seek help with eating disorders. The 17-year-old was was hospitalised in December after his kidneys were at risk of failing due to lack of food, the Daily Record reports.
The apprentice welder from Glasgow had struggled with weight and mental health problems for three years. He was subjected to cruel jibes about his weight- with some even calling him Bobby Sands after the famous republican hunger striker.
