The latest coronavirus infection rates across Greater Manchester as cases rocket in Bury

The rate rose by 179% in Bury in the week ending May 18, according to the latest figures from Public Health England. A total of 106 people tested positive for Covid-19 in that time - 68 more than in the previous week.

Trafford also recorded a sharp increase in infections with 49.3 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending May 18. That’s an 89 percent week-on-week increase.
