An urgent plea has been made for volunteer drivers to help deliver food to the region’s vulnerable residents during the coronavirus pandemic.Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway is looking able and willing volunteers across the area to help the council deliver food following the new restrictions that were put in place on Monday.

Anyone with a car and who is willing to drive to help people isolated at home should fill in the volunteer form on the Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway website at www.thirdsectordumgal.org.uk and put “volunteer food driver” in the box asking which opportunity you are interested in.
