Temperatures in the UK are staying warm as this month remains the hottest April in six years, despite Brits encouraged to stay indoors amid the coronavirus lockdown.
Today the UK will see glorious sunshine and plumes of warm air surge from across the continent which could see temperatures hitting 25C in southern England and west of London.
But before we brace the sunshine, there will be a bit of fog to start the day which will soon clear up. The mercury is set to peak in the mid-20s in London and the South East which Britons can enjoy in their balconies and gardens.
