A strange "fog-like" feeling of mental confusion may be one of the early warning signs of coronavirus, a World Health Organization (WHO) survey has revealed.

A persistent dry cough, tightness in the chest and a fever are the most common symptoms Covid-19. Anyone who develops these health issues is being advised to self-isolate in an effort to help contain the outbreak.

But other symptoms have been reported with the WHO saying "they can range from no symptoms (asymptomatic) to severe pneumonia and death".

Most people with coronavirus will generally develop symptoms including mild respiratory problems and a fever on average five to six days after infection.
