NEW DELHI : Home textile firm Welspun -- the makers of Terry towels -- said that said it has switched capacities to manufacture disinfectant wipes and surgical masks in order to meet the demand-supply gap for personal protection products amidst Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The company has been using its advanced textiles business unit within the Welspun Anjar manufacturing complex in the Kutch district of Gujarat.
Welspun’s Advanced Textiles Business has been operational since 2012 with state of the art technology where the company started making wet wipes in 2016.
