The latest figures from Scottish health officials has revealed that 1,774,659 have received their first part of the Covid jab as of 7.30am on Monday, March 8.A total of 115,930 people have gone on to get their second dose of the vaccine.It is hoped that the nine most vulnerable groups of people will have been invited for their first dose of the vaccine by mid-April.All adults in Scotland are expected to have received an invite for the jab by the end of July this year.Nicola Sturgeon has described the progress of the vaccination programme so far as going ‘extremely well’.
