A cheeky dad surprised his wife and children by turning his home into a giant ball pit. Joel Conder decided to dump 250,000 plastic balls in his home while his other half was at work.

The 34-year-old filled the downstairs area of his Surbiton, Surrey property with enough balls to render the pit about a metre deep.

Looks of pure joy and surprise filled the faces of his kids when they returned to find their home converted into a play zone.

In a video of the incident Kaci, 14, Grace, 12, Sophie, eight, and Chloe, two, dive off the sofas and sled down the stairs into the colourful pit below.
