But one woman has divided the internet after sharing a snap of her plate, which contained a rather unexpected item. The home cook, known only as Jessica M, decided to add a portion of peas to her breakfast.

Her snap was shared on the popular Twitter account, Rate My Plate and it's fair to say people had a lot of thoughts. The tweet garnered 1,000 likes and hundreds of retweets.
