A woman accused of stabbing and trying to hang a dog could spend Easter behind bars. Ivy Pahimbung, 37, got into a heated argument with a 58-year-old man she knew, reports 9news.
After the man fled to the bedroom and locked the door, Ms Pahimbung allegedly tried to open the door with a spanner and stabbed it with a knife.
She then allegedly stabbed a dog in the eye and chest with the knife, before trying to hang it. The horrific incident reportedly occurred at 10am in Paramatta Park residence.
Queensland Police Sergeant Cary Coolican said: "This sort of behaviour is just sickening, it's abhorrent. It's a defenceless animal and this woman has targeted this animal." The horrific act resulted in the dog requiring medical treatment, however the
