Xherdan Shaqiri is free to play for Switzerland after testing negative for the coronavirus. The Liverpool midfielder returned a positive test only a few days ago when he arrived at the Swiss camp, and was forced into self-isolation.
He became the third Liverpool star in a week following Sadio Mane and new signing Thiago Alcantara to contract the disease. But Shaqiri has taken a fresh test, which has come back negative.
According to a report from Blick, a blood test showed a negative-positive had been recorded because of "fragments of an old infection".
