You can go to the loo while visiting friends - but it's not straightforward

People who visit their friends and families for outdoor gatherings will be allowed to go indoors to use the toilet. Today Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that from Monday in England, groups of up to six people will be allowed to meet outside - as long as those who live in different homes stay at least two metres apart.

And he said that inviting people over for a barbecue is allowed as well in a slight easing of lockdown restrictions in place since March 23.

But going inside a home you don't live in is still not allowed, with two exceptions. One of them is to cut through a home to get to the garden, while the other is using the bathroom.
