Renters are largly unaware of the extra rights they have been given during the coronavirus outbreak. That's despite figures showing people paying landlords for somewhere to live are at real risk as a result of COVID-19.

Nearly one in five renters are scared of losing their job in the next three months due to coronavirus, research from housing charity Shelter shows.

And renters are less likely to have a safety net to fall back on should they need them, with research from Shelter finding nearly 75% have no savings to turn to if they lose their home.
