A 10-year-old boy who drowned in a loch after getting into difficulty in the water has been named as Michael Heeps.

Callander yesterday afternoon. Emergency services raced to the scene in a desperate attempt to rescue the youngster, who comes from High Valleyfield in Fife, but police later confirmed the boy had died.
