Derek McInnes’ first-team stars has tested positive for coronavirus. It follows an outbreak of the virus in the north east that saw Aberdeen thrust back into lockdown by Nicola Sturgeon on Wednesday.A number of Dons stars had been in and around city centre hotspots earlier at the weekend causing concern they may have contracted the virus. Now the latest batch of results have confirmed at least one player has tested positive.
Should the number remain at just one or two then Saturday’s clash with St Johnstone at McDiamid Park should get the go ahead.
