A 98-year-old Perthshire woman has battled back from coronavirus to be reunited with her beloved cocker spaniels at home.Tough Daphne Shah stunned doctors with her miracle recovery and was even name-checked in the First Minister’s daily briefing on Wednesday.Daphne, from St Madoes, who will turn 99 in July, was rushed to Ninewells Hospital, in Dundee, with a high temperature, persistent cough and difficulty breathing.Her frantic son, Wes, said he didn’t expect to see his mum alive again when she was whisked off in the ambulance last Thursday.And when she was diagnosed with Covid-19 the following day, he feared the worst.But now back home with her dogs, Daphne said she had a “fine time” in hospital.She told the Dundee Courier: “I was well
