A group of anti-lockdown demonstrators have taken part in a mass hug in front of New Scotland Yard to protest the stay-at-home orders that the government has imposed to curb coronavirus.

Videos shared on Twitter shows the 20-strong protesters, adults and young children, holding placards as they chant to say no to lockdown. "Hug someone, save lives," they cheered.

The participants are not seen wearing any facemasks as they perform a group hug in front of police officers in defiance of social distancing rules.

They have put down their complaints onto the card boards, which include claims of 5G radiation as a cause of Covid-19 and "say no to poisonous vaccines".
