Another 18 people have died from coronavirus in Greater Manchester, NHS data shows. It brings the death toll in the region's hospitals to 1,720.
These are the most up to date figures released by NHS England for hospital deaths, but the total number of fatalities caused by COVID-19 in the wider community is likely to be much higher.
There were another eight coronavirus-related deaths at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, while Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust recorded four more deaths.
Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care Foundation Trust each recorded two more deaths. Bolton and Stockport each recorded one more death.
