An award-winning Perth tattoo shop is set to shut after 18 years due to the owner’s health issues and rising costs.Inkredible Kreations on Canal Street will close on October 7 having first opened in 2005.The custom tattoo studio has created a number of outstanding designs over its run and also offered a tattoo removal service.A spokesperson’s statement reads: “Unfortunately due to the owner’s long-term ill health we’re having to close Inkredible Kreations.“We did try to remain open with a new owner, however a huge rent increase on a new lease for the premises has made this impossible.“We’ve tried up to the last minute to figure something out but to no avail.“As a result our last day of tattooing will be Saturday, October 7.”The spokesperson went on to thank the customers for their loyal support.“We’re all extremely sad as I’m sure you can imagine however we’re also all so grateful to have spent so much time with so many lovely people over many years - we cannot thank you all enough,” they added.“Going forward please follow all our artists on their social media pages, they’ll post up their new locations asap.“With regards to bookings, deposits and gift vouchers please email us on [email protected] and we’ll take care of everything.“Reception staff may not always be available in the studio over the coming weeks, so emailing is essential.“All our love, The Inkredibles.”
