Kate Garraway has shared her heartbreaking fear when it comes to her husband Derek Draper and his continued health challenges.
The Good Morning Britain presenter has recently opened up about a change in his condition, saying he'd developed a "weird choking" condition that's baffling doctors.
Kate has been helping care for Derek since early 2020 after he contracted coronavirus. The virus 'wreaked havoc' on the former Labour lobbyist's body.
He spent just over a year in hospital and has needed round-the-clock care ever since he returned home in April 2021. While he's made some progress since coming out of his coma, he can still only say the occasional few words and is struggling with renal failure and infected wounds.
