Former U.S. national security adviser John Bolton claimed in a book that is expected to release next week, unless stopped by a U.S.

government lawsuit, that President Donald Trump had asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to help him win farm states needed to secure his 2020 re-election.

He also alleged that Trump expressed a willingness to halt criminal investigations “to, in effect, give personal favours to dictators he liked.”.
