Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

Dominic Cummings has been investigated by police after he broke his own Government's lockdown rules. Boris Johnson's chief-of-staff was spotted by witnesses at his parents' home in Durham at a time when he'd said he was self-isolating in his London home with coronavirus symptoms.
One neighbour spotted the top aide after hearing him blasting ABBA's Dancing Queen. Travelling more than 250 miles from home, especially while sick with Covid-19, is in direct violation of the UK's lockdown laws which Johnson and senior ministers have said is essential to slow the spread of the virus.
