A British man who allegedly ignored coronavirus self-quarantining rules in South Korea could be jailed for up to a year or deported if he's found guilty.
The infected man, who lives in the city of Suwon, was asked to self-isolate at home for two weeks after returning from Thailand on March 20.
But he instead travelled to three cities, played golf, had direct contact with 23 people and never wore a mask over the following five days, it is claimed.
The Brit, who was not named, tested positive for the new strain of coronavirus on March 23, according to South Korean officials, who have vowed harsh punishment.
