British scientists hope to start coronavirus vaccine trials next month

British scientists leading the global race to find a vaccine for the coronavirus are hoping to start trials within the next month.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in his daily press conference on Thursday that experts were expecting to start trials within this time.

He also said a "game-changer" antibody test was "coming down the track" which could identify whether somebody somebody had become immune to the disease so they could return to their daily life.

Now The Guardian reports that the first coronavirus vaccine is being trialled by researchers at the Jenner Institute based at Oxford University.
