Brits can travel to Greece without restrictions from June 1 as lockdown eases

Isolating Brits dreaming of a European getaway will be able to holiday in Greece as soon as June 1, it has been confirmed The Greek government announced a three-stage plan to reopen its tourists sector last week, and it could see travellers return to the country from the start of next month.

Should no further coronavirus cases pop up in the country, Brits could be sunning themselves in Greece from June 1, but the chances of whether airlines will be willing transport them may be slim.

So far, Greece has managed to control its outbreak, with just 2,726 cases within its borders, and 151 deaths. In comparison, the UK has a staggering 32,065 fatalities and 223,000 confirmed cases.
