Bruno Fernandes could hold the key to Manchester United's next signing, with Jorge Mendes playing a huge role too. The Portugal international joined the Red Devils in January for a fee that could rise to £67m.
It followed a lengthy pursuit that had started the summer before, but Sporting Lisbon did not want to negotiate. However, another name came up during talks - that of 17-year-old Nuno Mendes.
The teenager is held in high regard at Sporting and has been earmarked as one of the best talents coming out of Portugal. And Fernandes could help a move go through as he shares the same agent as him - Jorge Mendes.
Record reported that only preliminary discussions were held over the full-back's future. But United could revisit negotiations
