Watching Bucks Fizz bop to victory with their skirt-ripping hit Making Your Mind Up in 1981 is Eurovision’s heyday as far as most British fans are concerned.
But after so many disheartening years of “nul points”, bizarrely lockdown has a treat in store. This year Bucks Fizz will be back.
Eurovision organisers were forced to cancel this year’s event in Rotterdam, but are now planning to host a virtual show on May 16 and have invited The Fizz – original Bucks Fizz members Jay Aston, Cheryl Baker and Mike Nolan – to perform.
