Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is set to hold talks with N’Golo Kante over his absence which could see the midfielder out until the end of the season amid coronavirus fears.
The Frenchman has suffered a tough season at Stamford Bridge, only making 22 appearances due to injury. A sprained ankle kept the midfielder out at the start of the Premier League campaign while a muscle strain put him out before the coronavirus pandemic suspended football.
It has seen Kante refuse to return to training due to fears over the disease, being given compassionate leave by the club. And the Telegraph has reported that manager Lampard is going to hold further talks with the 29-year-old.
