Tottenham will only pursue Chelsea winger Willian - if they off-load Erik Lamela first. Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked with a summer move for the Blues’ Brazilian ace, who was brought to Stamford Bridge by the Portuguese coach.
However, according to sources close to the Spurs hierarchy, Mourinho has been told he must sell first to have any hope of landing Willian a second time.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not prepared to sanction the signing of the South American, who earns £120,000-a-week, even though he will be a free transfer at the end of the 2019-20 season.
