The Government forced closure of all UK schools from last Friday as the country is battling to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Parents have been forced to adapt to the situation by providing their youngsters with entertainment and methods of education.

Some mums and dads have also had to cook and feed their children as they are now at home from school all day. Since the announcement, children are to receive a weekly supermarket voucher worth £15 to replace free meals.

The payments work out at £3 a day, up 70p from what schools are paid per pupil to provide meals, but won’t come into force until next week, Schools Week reports.
