Brits looking to jet off once coronavirus lockdown is over will be disappointed to learn EU leaders are considering keeping borders closed until a vaccine is available.
European leaders warned travellers against making holiday plans for July and August as "no one can make reliable forecasts" for the summer.
The EU Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, said it is likely the world will have to "learn to live with the virus for many months, probably until next year".
She went on to add travel restrictions are likely to be lifted once a vaccine is widely available – not when the virus appears to be under control.
