The much anticipated Disney+ streaming service will launch with a less than perfect quality level as demand is expected to be higher than expected as families across Europe tune in while locked up at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer and International division chairman, Kevin Mayer, announced on Saturday that the new streaming platform will be taking into account the fact that demand would be high for the new service.
Disney+ will be hosting a huge library of classic TV shows and films when it starts streaming later this month - with Tuesday 24 March the start date in the UK.
And the service has plenty of original content too - with Star Wars series The Mandalorian set to excite UK fans, and high school
