Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Good Morning Britain will be having a major shake-up on Monday amid the coronavirus pandemic. ITV daytime have decided to cancel live editions of Lorraine and Loose Women amid fears over the virus outbreak.

The decision was made to minimise the number of staff travelling in and out of the ITV studios - with reduced crews on set. This means there will be a special extended edition of GMB, which will start at the normal time of 6am but finish an hour later than usual at 10am.

Piers Morgan has predicted there will be a "fiery" show tomorrow because of growing anger building in the country - and he will be joined by a new co-host.
