Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Sam Smith has been photographed out and about just days after they shared an emotional post about being stuck inside due to the coronavirus self-isolation.

The 27-year-old shared a series of snaps which they said documented the "stages of a quarantine meltdown". The singer had previously spoke in an Instagram video about being "bored s***-less" during their self-isolation.

They said that we are in a "weird, weird time" and urged their fans to take note and keep an eye on their mental health. Despite the positive message, Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan was having none of the non-binary star's Instagram posts and quote tweeted a link to an article about the "meltdown".
