Hollyoaks have decided to stop filming amid the coronavirus pandemic. Bosses of the Channel 4 soap have pulled the plug on filming immediately to protect the cast and crew.
This comes after the death of a senior production staffer - but his cause of death has not yet been confirmed. A spokeswoman for Hollyoaks told The Sun : “After careful consideration Lime Pictures has decided to temporarily suspend recording Hollyoaks from Monday 23rd March. “It is a decision that has not been taken lightly but looking after our cast and crew is our number one priority.” Hollyoaks will only be showing three episodes a week, starting from Monday, to ration out what they have left.
