Coronavirus outbreak: Minister confirms 40 cases in First Nations communities on reserve, 5 in Nunavik

Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller said on Friday that there were 40 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in communities on reserve and five in Nunavik.

The numbers came as Miller also announced the transfer of $305 million to First Nations communities to help to prevent and react to the virus..
