Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has furiously lashed out at Strictly's Seann Walsh after he blamed his snog with Katya Jones for costing him his career.

The Good Morning Britain host branded the comic "tone-deaf" before telling him to "shut the f**k up" in a furious rant. After the 54-year-old presenter read Seann's interview in Times, he took to Twitter to voice his ever so bold opinion.

He wrote: "Imagine being so tone-deaf that you think THIS is the moment to go public with your ‘ Strictly Come Dancing hell’? "Jeez, some celebrities right now need to just post a supportive message to the NHS, tell everyone to stay inside & shut the f**k up."
