Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA  (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Six weeks into lockdown in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic, and there's talks of restrictions being lifted. Just this weekend the warm weather brought many people out of isolation yet again, in parks and other public places.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning, Piers took aim at those still not observing the rules, and those who believed the virus was "over".

He also hit out at the government amid prime minister Boris Johnson's return to office, weeks on from his own COVID-19 battle.

Piers shared his concern that the World Health Organisation confessed there's no proof that people will be immune, after battling the virus.
