The government will reportedly begin a five-stage plan to ease the coronavirus lockdown from next week. Prime Minister Boris Johnson will set out his “roadmap” for lifting restrictions on Sunday – as the UK becomes the first country in Europe to officially report more than 30,000 deaths.
From Monday, staff will be encouraged to return to firms that stayed open during the lockdown, the Daily Mirror reports. Primary schools will see a phased return from the start of June and households could be allowed to expand their “social bubble” to one other home of family or friends.
