Coronation Street staple Sue Cleaver has celebrated in style this week as she shared a cheeky video to mark her milestone 60th birthday with fans, just days after opening up about her “scary” hospital dash.

The cobbles legend, who is best known to fans for playing Eileen Grimshaw in the soap, took to Instagram on Saturday (2 September) to share a hilarious video which couldn’t help but tickle fans.

In the short clip, Sue explained that she had been excited to open her birthday cards on such an important occasion, but had been less than thrilled to discover that the first envelope she’d opened wasn’t a card at all, but an advert for a retirement village!
