Two of the fresh cases are each from Thiruvananthapuram and Kasargod districts, the rest are one each from Kollam, Thrissur and Kannur Kerala on Tuesday confirmed seven more covid-19 patients, taking the total active cases in the state to 215, said chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Earlier in the day, the state had announced its second casualty over the virus. The deceased was a 68-year-old patient who was undergoing treatment at Thiruvananthapuram medical college.
He was suffering from high blood pressure and thyroid-related problems and died early morning on Tuesday, the hospital said in a statement.
